Drifting Background
I discovered drifting while playing the Need For Speed Underground game for the PS2 in 2003/2004. I began to get serious and the bug bit me at age 21 after going to the Falken Tires Drift Showoff on July 23rd 2005.

I started drifting with a 2000 Pontiac Firebird Formula (5.7L). My first real event was at Englishtown, NJ in
November of 2005. I was going through a rough custody battle during this time and sold the car to pay the lawyer. It was another year or so before I got a 1985 Toyota Celica Supra (2.8L). Never had a chance to make it to an event in that car. I blew the engine because of a unchecked oil leak. Hit some hard financial problems so drifting went on hold until I got a 1990 Ford Mustang LX Notchback (2.3L) in October of 2007 but it was in such bad shape with rust that I sold it to the junk yard. I borrowed a friend's 2004 Ford Mustang (3.8L) for my second event ever in
November of 2007 at Summit Point. FINALLY in April of 2008 I bought the 1987 Ford Mustang GT Hatchback (5.0L) and took it to a Summit Point event the very next month in May of 2008. Due to more financial and mechanical problems I did not attended another event until the one on
March 29th 2009.
